Compete with another hacker to fill a network with as many EXAs as you can.

"To win this battle you must fill the network's hosts with as many of your EXAs as you can. Note that each pair of test runs has its own unique network layout, with bi-directional links between hosts that use the prime numbers between 2 and 13 as link IDs (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, and 13). Gain one point for each EXA you control in the network at the end of the battle. Lose one point every time one of your EXAs executes a KILL instruction."

  • Your NPC opponent x10x10x has an EXA program that rapidly throws out Canaries to establish links, and then puts EXAs into infinite loops to take up space on hosts. This is the same strategy you should use, but you need to write your program more efficiently than them.
  • You have a limit of 100 EXAs. It does not matter how your EXAs are distributed between hosts as long as they exist, but spreading between multiple hosts will prevent your opponent filling them first.
